Offley Mill is in the heart of Staffordshire in the small hamlet village of Offley Brook. It is a fully working commercial watermill with six pairs of millstones fitted. It is run on a daily basis producing chapatti flour for the west-midlands and also grinds on contract for Heritage Harvest in High Wycombe. All types of contract grinding are undertaken including storage, grinding and delivery.
The mill is not open to the public, however we will always make visitors welcome. We have owned and operated Offley Mill since 1943. The Howell family has been involved in milling since 1840, and at one time operated five watermills on the river Sow. We are also millwrights and have a vast knowledge that has been passed down through the generations and undertake every type of millstone dressing in the traditional way !
