Burton Mill, West Sussex

Burton Mill is a restored 1780s watermill near Petworth, West Sussex. Local wheat is regularly milled and sold in nearby shops.

By car:

From Petworth follow the A285 south for about 4km then take the left turn signposted Burton Mill. The mill is on the left after about 1.5km. Park in the public car park.

Opening Times:

National Mills Weekend (Sunday) and National Heritage Weekend.

Access:

There is level access to the mill machinery but stair access only to the Stone Floor. Low beams and very uneven floors with trip hazards. Partially guarded heritage machinery and high noise levels.

We mill non organic locally grown wheat. A full list of all our products are on our website but please note that we only supply flour to our local community shops and businesses. We are unable to accept online orders.
