Y Felin is set in picturesque surroundings adjacent to the 12th Century Abbey of St Dogmaels. It has had several owners from the 1640s, including the Webley Parry family, who owned the Mynachlogddu Estates in Pembrokeshire and another well known local family, the Gwynnes, who worked the mill until 1926. Today it is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hall, who purchased it from a descendant of the Gwynnes. Since 1980 the Halls have restored the mill to its former state.
